Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 30-minute complimentary consultation to discuss your concerns, answer questions about the therapy process, and determine whether we may be a good fit for working together.
What types of therapy do you offer?
I provide individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Common concerns include anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, family conflict, trauma, cultural identity concerns, grief, self-esteem, and personal growth.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can be helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, stressed, disconnected in your relationships, struggling with life changes, or seeking greater self-understanding. Therapy provides a supportive space to explore challenges, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal growth.

How can I check my out-of-network benefits?
Clients can use Thrizer to verify out-of-network benefits, estimate potential reimbursement, and simplify the reimbursement process. I can also provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement purposes.
What happens during the first therapy session?
The first session focuses on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, discussing your goals, and gathering relevant background information. Together, we will create a plan that supports your needs and desired outcomes.

Confidentiality is an important part of the therapeutic relationship. Information shared in therapy is kept private except in specific situations required by law or professional ethics, which will be discussed during the informed consent process.
