Adult Children of Emotionally Immature and Abusive Parents
Growing up with emotionally immature or abusive parents can leave lasting effects well into adulthood. Many adult children struggle with people-pleasing, low self-worth, difficulty setting boundaries, anxiety, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, and unhealthy relationship patterns. They often feel responsible for others' emotions while neglecting their own needs.
This psychoeducational group helps participants better understand the impact of emotional immaturity, abuse, neglect, and dysfunctional family dynamics. You'll learn practical tools and evidence-based strategies for healing while connecting with others who share similar experiences. I provide a safe, compassionate space to help you recognize unhealthy patterns, strengthen boundaries, improve emotional regulation, and build greater self-trust.
Through participation in the group, you can gain increased self-awareness, emotional resilience, confidence, healthier relationships, stronger communication skills, and a clearer sense of identity. You'll leave with greater insight into your experiences and concrete skills to support lasting growth and healing.
