Adult Children of Immigrant Families Psychoeducational Group
Growing up in an immigrant family often means navigating multiple cultures, identities, and expectations. Many adult children of immigrants struggle with feeling caught between cultures, people-pleasing, guilt, perfectionism, family pressure, boundary challenges, and balancing personal goals with cultural and family obligations. These experiences can impact self-esteem, relationships, and overall well-being.
This psychoeducational group provides a safe space to explore the unique challenges of being raised in an immigrant family. Together, we will examine cultural expectations, family dynamics, intergenerational patterns, and identity development while learning practical tools for communication, boundary-setting, emotional wellness, and self-advocacy. I offer guidance, education, and support to help participants better understand their experiences and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
Through participation in this group, you can gain greater self-awareness, stronger boundaries, increased confidence, healthier relationships, a deeper connection to your cultural identity, and practical skills for navigating family and cultural expectations. You do not have to navigate these challenges alone.
